OceanTools recently decided to branch out from ROV tooling products including pan & tilt units into the broader field of subsea robotics and hydraulics.

A collaboration agreement has been signed with TMI-Orion Dynamics to extend the range of manipulator arms, starting with the EM5. Furthermore, OceanTools will assist with the manufacture of the arm in their state-of-the-art CNC machine shop and electronics workshops.

Our first new robotic product design will be a single function electric manipulator, with other electric manipulators planned including two and three functions along with a seven function hydraulic arm.

Hydraulic products in the pipeline include pan & tilt units, pressure compensators, valve packs and camera booms.
